We highlighted a past Brother from my lodge a few episodes ago, William McClintock, well today we are going to talk about another, LeRoy Hill. This Brother was actually the first of the area to die in WWI and passed away in action on a battlefield in France. We recently got the opportunity to do a joint event with the local Legion Post in honor of Brother Hill. Check out this episode to find out more.

Tonight we are doing a recap on my recent trip to Masonic Con 2018 in Attleboro Mass. where I presented this year on the importance of preserving our Masonic History.

Recording the intro of today's show while in the hospital waiting room. You may have heard by now that Brother Angelo Mino who you will see featured in the into of Historical Light was recently diagnosed with stomach cancer and is currently in that fight. Additional to that my younger brother passed away just over a week ago so things have been crazy. I do apologize that we have not been keeping our regular schedule but I hope you can understand why.
Tonight we are featuring an interview with Brother and Masonic Author Julian Rees. He is bringing us not only some history behind his publications but a look into the start of the Co- Masonic orders with Le Droit Humain. This is a very tabu subject for a lot of people but we are not going at this in a debate format instead we are merely taking a look at the history behind it.

Taking a break from the interviews for today to allow time to shwo respect to an important name in my lodges history, William J. McClintock. He started out as a mysterious frame portrait on the wall in the lodge room. After some time of digging I was finally able to match the face in that frame to the name of a past master of Gardner who served a collective twelve years in the East of the ldoge that we had been missing a photo for.
